Patty Glover - Spring 2022 Semester
Ms. Glover gathered and prepared open source materials as a supplemental resource for the cosmetology course COS 191 Hair Design, specifically addressing the art and science aspects of the course. Distributed through the Canvas Learning Management and YouTube platforms, these open educational resources provide registered students the ability to access step-by-step videos and other instructional content at no cost.

Dr. Gailynn White - Spring 2022 Semester
Dr. White explored the intricacies of the educational technologies that are available to the college, improved her skills in teaching sociology, and is currently sharing that knowledge with her colleagues. This included improving her proficiency in Canvas, SoftChalk, and Voicethread, and then applying this knowledge by updating an open educational resource book, which was then imported into both SoftChalk and Canvas.

Dr. Elisabeth Ritacca - Fall 2022 Semester
Dr. Ritacca created a new environmental history course studying environmental changes in North America and resulting impacts to cultural, political, and social issues with the intent of creating context for current and future generations to understand how previous generations have resolved conflicts between humanity and the environment.

Dr. Ana M. Afzali - Fall 2022 Semester
Dr. Afzali created a series of ADA compliant videos intended to supplement existing course materials for Spanish for Heritage Speakers courses. These videos focus on grammar, culture and writing tutorials with the goal to increase success rates in courses for Spanish Heritage Speakers and Spanish degrees.
